SHIPPING POLICY

Last updated: 1 October 2026**

Jo Burt Art offers original artworks and made-to-order art prints through joburtart.com.

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are produced, packaged and delivered.

1. Production and fulfilment

Many of our prints are made to order by professional print and fulfilment partners.

Where possible, orders are produced at a facility that can efficiently service the destination country or region. This can help reduce unnecessary international shipping and customs delays.

Production and fulfilment locations may vary depending on the product, destination and availability.

2. Processing times

Most print orders are processed and ready for shipment within approximately 3–6 business days.

Processing times are estimates and may vary during busy periods, holidays, promotional periods or where a particular product requires additional production time.

Original artworks may have different processing and handling times. Where relevant, an estimated timeframe will be provided with the artwork listing.

3. Delivery timeframes

Once an order has been shipped, estimated delivery times are generally:

Destination: Estimated delivery
Australia: 5–10 business days
New Zealand: 7–12 business days
USA & Canada: 6–12 business days
UK & Europe: 5–12 business days
Rest of world: 7–15 business days

These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delivery times may be affected by public holidays, peak periods, weather, carrier delays, customs processing and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Tracking

Where tracking is available, you will receive tracking information by email once your order has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after an order leaves the production facility.

5. Packaging

Prints are carefully packaged to help protect them during transit.

Depending on the size and product:

- smaller prints may be shipped flat in rigid protective packaging
- larger prints may be shipped rolled in protective tubes
- archival or acid-free materials may be used where appropriate
- original artworks are packaged separately and receive additional protection appropriate to the artwork.

Packaging may vary depending on the product, production facility and shipping method.

6. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the products, destination and shipping method available for your order.

Where free shipping is offered, the applicable conditions will be displayed on the website or at checkout.

7. International shipping

We ship to a range of international destinations.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, GST/VAT or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Any applicable customs duties, taxes or import charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Jo Burt Art does not control customs processes and cannot guarantee that an international order will not be delayed by customs.

8. Incorrect or incomplete delivery information

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address at checkout.

If an order is returned to the sender because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional shipping costs may apply if the order needs to be resent.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in your delivery details.

9. Lost or delayed parcels

If your order appears to be delayed or has not arrived within a reasonable period after the expected delivery window, please contact us.

We may need to contact the relevant shipping or fulfilment provider to investigate the delivery.

Where an order is confirmed as lost, damaged or otherwise affected by a delivery issue, we will work with the relevant provider and customer to determine an appropriate resolution.

Your rights under applicable consumer law are not affected by this process.

10. Damaged deliveries

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where possible, please retain the original packaging and provide photographs of:

the outer packaging

any visible damage to the packaging

the artwork or product

the shipping label.

This information helps us investigate damage that may have occurred during transit.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for information about replacements and refunds.

11. Multiple products in an order

Where an order contains multiple products, items may occasionally be produced or shipped separately.

This can occur because products may be made at different production facilities or require different packaging and shipping methods.

If your order arrives in more than one parcel, you will receive separate tracking information where available.

12. Local pickup

Local pickup may occasionally be available for original artworks.

If local pickup is available, please contact Jo Burt Art before purchasing to confirm arrangements.

13. Delivery to remote or restricted locations

Delivery availability and timeframes may vary for remote areas, islands, PO Boxes and other locations with limited carrier services.

Where a particular destination cannot be serviced, we will contact you where possible to discuss available options.

14. Events outside our control

Delivery and production may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruptions, customs delays, strikes, carrier disruptions, technical problems or other unforeseen events.

Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed and assist with your order.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
